Summary: I came back to hotel late, after a concert, and let myself in through the gate and the side door. But when I got to door leading into the hallway near Room2, I found the lock to be very difficult to open. It took me 20 minutes to get the door open. I thought that I might have sleep on the staircase! 😲

Summary: We stayed at Die Botschaft for three nights at the end of September. The room was spacious and clean with a seating area facing the back of the house. There is a small car park behind the hotel, with a gate that is locked at night. The lady at reception was super friendly and explained everything about the keys and where to find a good place for breakfast (we liked a small cafe near S-Bahn station Karlshorst, about 2 min walk away). She even helped my daughter with printing out some documents for her university matriculation. The blinds are not black out so it's quite bright in the morning, otherwise it's perfect and the room is being tidied during the day, with fresh towels on request.
