Summary: We stayed at Villa Rhona for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. The views are beautiful. It’s a lovely quiet area and some good restaurants within walking distance. The villa is in an ideal location if you want to travel the island as we did. The villa’s kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfy - unusual for a holiday! The pool is lovely too. There are some fantastic beaches nearby. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

Summary: We spent a very happy week at Villa Rhona in August. The information sent by the owners prior to our arrival was extremely helpful and we were impressed by how well equipped the villa was. Little touches like the provision of items such as a cafetiere were excellent. Neill and Rhona have really made it a home from home; we felt very relaxed there from the outset. The villa was very comfortable for the four of us - plenty of room for two adults and two teenage children. We were also impressed at the speed of response of the management company to a query we had. We hired a car for one day, to explore the island. Otherwise we relied on the very handy bus service to Rhodes Town and Lindos, and the Lindos taxis. One of the best things about the holiday was the friendliness of the local people, in particular the staff at Konstantin (where we had several wonderful meals - highly recommended!) and at the supermarket opposite the Atrium Palace Hotel. They all went beyond the call of duty to make our stay in Kalathos a good one, and we will remember their hospitality for a long time to come. We would definitely recommend this villa for a relaxing and comfortable Greek holiday. We were very sorry to leave!

Summary: We have rented a lot of villas and this definitely has been one of the best. The villa is in a stunning location with amazing views of kalathos. The villa is of a very high standard and has all the things you will need , a real home from home. It is a great base to travel the island from. Very close to Lindos and great restaurants. We went with young children and had a great time. Really recommend you hire a car to make the most of your time. Communication from the owner was excellent and very prompt. Strongly recommend if you are looking to stay near lindos!!!

Summary: Wonderful Villa, Wonderful View's, Wonderful surroundings, Wonderful pool and terrace. Almost everything was wonderful and great! Communication with the owner very good, and Villa maintaining also. When I saw big hotel complexes when staying here, and knowing people are paying about same money or even more, to stay in their AI "paradises" in a small room, instead in a Villa like this, with complete own privacy and pool, I felt very smart :D Didn't want to leave at all, because who wants to leave from home? It was very nice stay and looking forward to stay again! About the villa, There is a new kitchen so it is very modern and nice. Beds are comfortable, which is not common if you stay in Greek hotels... everything is very clean and very good sofa's in living room, if you get bored to lay outside ;) Kalathos area is very god base, if you want to explore this side of the Island, and why not the west side also. Lindos very close. Taxi from Lindos to the villa up in the hill 12-13e. There is 2 nice beach bar at Kalathos beach. Ostria and Summer love. Summer love has luxury beds and and happy hours etc... Ostria very nice and beds only 2e! Kalathos is small village, with only 1 major hotel, but sill there is top tavernas in the whole islands scale, if you look tripadvisor's listing. At the time we were there, Ostria was reviewed 2nd. best and Konstantin 7. best in the whole island, including over 1000 restaurants! Also Stefanos family, which is the closest to the villa, is very good and traditional. We found it maybe the best of these tree if you want best value for money, since the mains were 20-30% cheaper than in Konstantin for example, and it is like said, very traditional greek taverna with fresh food (all of the cooked mains aren't available everyday, which is always a good sign. That means usually that the dish is VERY fresh and properly cooked). In Lindos we recommend Dionysos restaurant. Meze's were spot on and the prices not so bad for Lindos! If you get stuck with greek food at some point, there is a one of the best pizza places of the Island in Kiotari, Capi Di Pizza. 15min drive south. And in Rodos town, "chinese" hamburger is a must. been there several times in 20 years and its always very tasty. To Kineziko. I've been traveling to Greece about 15 times which 10 to Rodos, so I think I know what to expect from tavernas and accommodation, So I hope this all can help others to have great stay.

Summary: We know the villas above Kalathos from many stays in October at the Atrium Hotel down at the beach. We visited the Helios Site five years ago, as there were villas for sale. We decided to rent one some day. So we came to Villa Rhona. And we really loved the place! More than three weeks in October..we had a good time. We found that the gardens of the site had developed during the last five years. At the Villa’s Pergola colourful Bougainvilllea, in the garden Oleander and other plants, a wonderful contrast to the sky and sea of Rhodes. And we felt very comfortable during our stay. Neill helped us with all the details concerning our arrival. He made it really easy for us, even the car rental..thank you very much. Of course in October the weather on Rhodes is changing. It is sometime unpredictible. But we had wonderful days and nights, more or less never used the AirCo...good ! Late summer, good swimming, wonderful evenings on the terrace or balcony. O.K. the pool was a little fresh in October, but it was allways a good refreshment in the hot sun of the day, and the beaches are near ...with still 24 degrees celsius water temperature. Some power-cuts irritated the clock oft he automatic watering system of the garden. So sometimes in the morning we had not enough water pressure for the shower. But Scot -who served the pool- knew what to do. And Kevin & Trish are near by, good to know....very nice persons. In the end we had some stormy days and a lot of strong wind too. Although Villa Rhona is a real Summer- House, it has all you need and the view over the coast gave us some spectacular impressions, with some thunderstorms too. And „Ilios“ allways came back next morning to wake us up very early. In this stunning place you will not miss the sunrise. A place that makes you want to come back. „And another thing“ (we discovered „Clarkson“..): Please give a little concrete to the drive of the parking space...but if not, it’s allways a challenge for good drivers.. Summary: Just got back from a 10 days vacation in Rhodes. We were two couples staying at this awesome villa. It has all the confort you need (and maybe a little more!) it's in a great location, 10 minutes driving far from Lindos and right in the middle between the best beaches of the island. It's in a very quiet area and there is a pretty big grocery store 5 mins driving towards Lindos. The owners gave us all the information we needed, and even in the villa you find more detailed info about the house and the island. Definitely hope to be able to go back, it was simply amazing!

Summary: This was our third stay in this villa and everything was perfect again. The owners keep improving the house with some new furniture, TV, beach towels etc. The villa was again spotless upon our arrival and the pool was attended to by the facilities managers regularly. We are very happy we have discovered this place and have booked our next year's stay already.
