Positive: Lovely old bungalow with huge verandahs and a beautiful garden, sitting up on a ridge looking out over the town below, mountains in the distance. Huge bedroom with mountain view had a large comfy four poster bed, sitting area, fireplace and great bathroom with large shower and a bowl of fresh flowers :) Delicious breakfasts, teatime snacks and dinners with local dishes to order, made by Prakash, who always had a broad smile for us.

Summary: Highly recommend this relaxing homestay with huge rooms, excellent food and friendly atmosphere.

Positive: It is a heritage Manor and is kept very well. The owners are very warm and welcoming. Prakash ji who is managing the kitchen prepared the most delicious home style food which made the stay most comfortable. He has a small team who keep running through the day to look after guests at the property. Prakash ji takes care of the meals and honestly we haven’t had better home cooked food !

Positive: The property was clean, peaceful, spacious and located at an easy to find place. We hardly ever left the homestay in our 3 nights and 4 days visit so we had 9 meals there. Every single meal was homecooked, fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff is so professional, soft spoken and on their toes to service us. Prakash ji needs a special mention for his cooking, support to guests and running everything smoothly. I will always book this place whenever in Uttaranchal.

Negative: Its perfect so I can’t think of any flaws.
