Positive: Nice sized room, very quiet, good breakfast. Staff at dinner very attentive.

Negative: This hotel offers servicing of rooms on request. We asked in the morning to have our towels changed and the Doona swapped for a top sheet and blanket as we had been too hot the first night. Arrived back at about 3:30pm, nothing done. I asked again at about 5pm, and again at 6, which was when we went to dinner. . Arrived back at the room at 7, a sheet and blanket had been dumped on our bed, towels still not changed, and the door had been left open ( part closed, not pulled to). Went to the front desk for the 4th time, finally someone came and switched our towels over, we were left to make the bed ourselves. Not good service by any means.

Positive: The hotel was nice, even though it’s not close to the city center. On the other hand, it’s very convenient for the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good, though a bit pricey. The location worked well for me — just across the street you can catch a bus that takes you directly to the center in 20-25 min.

Negative: The hotel’s cleaning service could be improved. Even though we requested daily cleaning, at times it felt like the room wasn’t really cleaned. Also, one of the towels we received had makeup stains and a bedsheet had a bloodstain. Once we reported it, they immediately replaced them.

Negative: Check-in - always seems to take far longer than it needs to. Staff greet you okay but then while they are looking at their computer - they seem to move the mouse about and click a lot to check you in. Other places are slicker. One of the beds in the room was so close to the wall - you couldn't walk up the side of it to get in comfortably - was about a foot of space - the spacing between the two beds was fine and then you had a space of 6-7 feet the other side of the second bed! Hospitality in room - always have to ask for the extra cup and glass!! and sometimes the towels too! Room is always two double beds (therefore can sleep 4), we book for 3 - hospitality and towels for 2!!!!! WHY??? Slow staff in bar - often there is only one person on the bar at busy times when meals are being served too and they are pulled away to do the food service leaving a queue at the bar and then they do the drinks one at a time - checking, double-checking, sometimes triple checking the order as they go and still get it wrong or try to charge for something you didn't order - I have started asking them for a copy of the order before I pay because we have ordered the same drinks twice and paid different amounts and on checking they have overcharged us or added a drink we didn't order. Don't think they are doing this deliberately - just getting flustered with the pressure of lots of customers versus one server. Price! We have exactly the same booking (apart from dates of course) - same type of room, same numbers, etc for several up and coming dates (and past ones) and this booking was twice as much as any others. I though it might be peak time, but compared it to same time last year and this was not the case.
