Negative: Only one set of keys was provided for two separate people staying. The pool was out of order and we were not told this beforehand, which would have changed my mind about booking. Insufficient bedding for the temperature in Canberra.

Positive: the weather was lousy and it took a bit to find the lock box.

Negative: we could have had extra spare blankets as the heating didn't feel like it was working so well and it was really cold. Also the shower head in the master bedroom doesn't work well, exiting on the last day also a pain in the neck.

Positive: We stayed here last year and had an amazing experience. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the location is fantastic—close to restaurants and a grocery store. It’s also very convenient for getting around Canberra.

Negative: Upon entering the property, we were immediately greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, the place had not been properly cleaned. There was a significant amount of black hair on the bathroom floor, leftover fruit in the fridge, stains on the lounge, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed—there were bits of paper and general mess scattered around. Additionally, there weren’t enough towels provided for the number of guests, the heating system was not functioning properly, and a wet towel was left in the washing machine. There were also not enough extra blankets available. On a positive note, the host was responsive and made efforts to address the issues. However, given the price we paid, I don’t believe the property met the expected standard, and I would not stay here again.
