Deerwood Cabin is the coziest little spot tucked into the woods just 4 miles from downtown Mentone AND DeSoto State Park. Rustic features with all the modern conveniences. Perfect for two with King bedroom but there's space for a couple more on the futon couch in the living room too! Fully stocked kitchen including mini dishwasher and vintage inspired refrigerator and microwave. Inviting front porch, screened back porch and back deck are all amazing spots to watch the deer that frequently pass thru the yard! Wood burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill make this the spot to relax, surrounded by nature!
Mentone offers artist & antique shops and restaurants. Nearby activities include golf, DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve, horseback riding, hiking along rivers & waterfalls. Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well supplied and very clean. The huge mattress was great and the electric blanket was very warming! Well stocked with firewood and charcoal which we enjoyed.

Summary: We stayed at Deerwood cabin during Easter weekend with our dogs. We enjoyed the weather, sitting on the front porch and grilling in the afternoon. The porch sitting in the morning with the beautiful sound of the rails of trains in the valley during coffee. Very relaxing watching stars and sunsets in the evening. The cabin was close to everything from grocery, gas and restaurants. We enjoyed a morning hike at Little River Canyon Preserve. Thank you for your great hospitality!!! Summary: Our lives have been so busy with work, kids, and dogs, that we forgot to focus on romance. This place made it happen. Quiet and Secluded, but accessible. We had a fire inside with our morning coffee. Then an evening bonfire out back with smores. Loved that we got to reconnect.agreat little cabin

Summary: It was a very cozy and clean cabin with so many nice amenities including an electric blanket! A wonderful place to unplug from work! We were able to see some wildlife while sitting on the porch. Close to Desota Falls and loved the Wildflower Cafe!
