Summary: 16th birthday trip for my son, brother in law, nephew and me. It was a great location, so peaceful and the boys enjoyed exploring the property. Night time fires were awesome and drinking coffee on the wraparound porch in the morning was amazing. Hiking locations easily accessible. Close to food store and Air-Soft only 40 minutes away. It was a great weekend!

Summary: We had such a lovely time at this cabin. The house was exceptionally clean, the bed was super comfortable and the setting was perfect. We spent our days fly fishing in area rivers, hiking in Linville Gorge, visiting the winery, serendipitously watching Wake Forest baseball beat Appalachian in Boone and simply enjoying the property. The creek is not only beautiful to look at but provides a perfect soundtrack to this mountain cabin. The rhododendron stand across the creek will be stunning when it is blooming and I envy whomever will be in the cabin when that happens. The Blue Ridge Parkway is less than five minutes away. Our host couldn’t have been more accommodating. We are already working on when we will return. So happy to have found this piece of paradise in the mountains. Go Deacs!
