Positive: A very nice place for two people to relax. Perfect location for short trips around the area. Everything within walking distance: Tulip Fields, Amsterdam, Castle, Space Center, Museum, Restaurants, Shops, and much more... Clean and peaceful, and the animals really lift the mood. The owner is a very nice person. We are very pleased and will definitely want to return.
Negative: Only one comment (which doesn't affect the overall rating) - the kettle with the cord is quite cumbersome to use.🙂
Summary: A very nice place for two people to relax. Perfect location for short trips around the area.

Positive: We had a lovely and meaningful stay at the Narcis. We are big animal lovers and absolutely adored the aviaries on the grounds and the cute ducks, chickens, and tortie cat. So much care went into their care, and the same care was used to make the guesthouse a cozy place to stay. The corner bed feels like something from my childhood, and the hosts embody warm Dutch hospitality. The location was perfect for tulip season. We would love to be back again someday.

Positive: Our host Shirley was very accommodating, the wood burner was great after experiencing chilly weather. Very comfortable room and felt very private despite being at the end of a long garden. The ducks and chickens next door were a lovely surprise, the roosters will call at sunrise but it's pleasant. Well equipped with amenities and the gift basket was very welcome after a long journey. We experienced a minor issue with the shower hose, informed Shirley and the issue was resolved within an hour (on Good Friday after hours!) Thank you very much for a lovely vacation
Negative: Could do with a proper chef knife, but can make do with the steak knives provided.

Positive: Everything we needed, was found in the “cabin”! Goodie basket was enjoyed and was a kind touch. Wish we could have spent more time there as we would like to have spent more time relaxing on the lovely porch and outdoor lounging area. Lisse is a lovely town!
Negative: Parking was free, which was nice, but we weren’t able to find parking in front of the house. It was available around the corner at the end of the street, which was a short walk.

Positive: The location was close to everything The town is safe and clean . The cabin was great, everything that we needed was there. And the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the farm cats, and fowl around. It made it interesting. Loved being able to eat either on the balcony or grass area, in the sun. Knowledge of local restaurant with discount was a great bonus. We'll go back!
Negative: Yes, a kettle could have been helpful. Also, face clothes for shower. Eventually, for an added cost, it would be good to be able to rent a couple of bikes from the premises. Just an idea.
