Positive: Super clean, well-located, tastefully decorated, stocked with essentials, brilliant history and unique charm. I slept like a dream, and overall incredibly peaceful and close to everything. I couldn't have asked for more, and I can't say enough about how gracious Amanda was. Thank you sooo much for a wonderful stay.

Negative: I didn't like that I had to leave (lol). 10/10!!!!!

Summary: I'd score higher than 10/10 if possible - absolutely fantastic space and hosts. I'll be back!! :)

Positive: Amanda did an exceptional job decorating the space in a way that was as functional as it was beautiful. It was clear to us that she put a lot of thought, love, and care into creating a space that felt like a home. We spent four days in this lovely space, paying for breakfast on the second day. Amanda was thoughtful enough to provide the necessary amenities to store and reheat our leftovers, allowing us to sleep in and save money on some mornings. She was very responsive to requests and questions, kept the place clean, and was friendly and offered many ideas for places to visit upon request. We would definitely stay here again.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at De Haarlemse Logeerkamer. The owner was lovely and was there to give us the keys on arrival. The apartment is perfect for a couple (or single person) with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It was super clean and the bed comfy. It was also really quiet on a night and we slept really well. Haarlem is a fantastic little city too and you are on a 10 minute walk from the main town centre with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. There is the train station too with regular trains to Amsterdam. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again if we are ever back in lovely Haarlem or visiting Amsterdam.
