Positive: Breakfast was just as good as it gets - totally excellent. We booked at the last minute and the restaurant was full with a large wine convention. They suggested an Italian restaurant a five minute drive away and that was very good in all respects.

Negative: Most of the staff were well trained, friendly and keen to help. The lady on reception when we arrived was difficult to say the least, initially claiming the hotel was completely full!

Summary: Lovely room, really excellent breakfast, shame we couldn't try the restaurant in the evening.

Negative: Bacon was our for breakfast and wasn't replaced.

Summary: A charming hotel in a scenic location. I will definitely come again when I am in this area.
