Positive: If you are visiting Aqaba and the south beach this is a good place. There is diving and snorkeling equipment! It is within walking distance - very close to the beach. There is parking. The breakfast was good. Overall the hotel and rooms are good.

Negative: There were mosquitoes and strange noises at night.

Positive: Fabulous location opposite a snorkelling site. Large comfortable room. Great pool. Car parking. Dive group next door. Variety of room prices. Good breakfasts!

Negative: Rarely cleaned : table tops, room bar fridges, the large tiled area around the pool, the tiled areas outside rooms, food covered fabric sofas, the lounge area. A place run by lounging men. Expensive dinners. Broken chairs outside rooms.

Summary: Terrific beach location with loads of potential.

Positive: Great stay right by the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pool is lovely to hang out at. Good value for money

Negative: Fair few flies and mosquitoes around but not sure there’s much the property can do about that.

Positive: Quiet, close to the dive sites. Nice staff

Negative: Far away from Aqaba, place was also deserted when I was there. Food was therefore minimal. Only had the very basic breakfast and sometimes lunch, but went out for dinner in the city mostly. Very few vegetarian/vegan options (despite asking in advance). Basically they leave out the meat for you. Wasnt extremely clean and room wasnt cleaned once in a week long stay. They probably sent the cleaner away as I was the only guest.

Positive: The host was very welcome. The breakfast and lunch was very tasty and the diving were great. I totally recommend it. South Beach is the best place in Aqaba, quiet and inspiring.

Positive: Very close to Berenice Beach Club and South Beach area. Room had 4 single beds in it. Parking available just outside the entrance.

Negative: Cleanliness of room, fridge, toilet, shower, sink. Shower had no door so water spilt out. Odd smell from the sink - very off putting. Mirror was cracked. Breakfast (included) was limited. Staff didn't speak English well so we used Google translate, and was not very interactive. Offered to bring my 8 year old scuba diving to the Cedar Pride and Japanese Garden site - we recognised that he's younger than the minimum age of 10 (even with parental and instructor supervision). When we went to Berenice Beach, we received the correct PADI advice from them and opted for snorkeling instead which was age appropriate.

Summary: Passable for the price but wouldn't stay again next visit.

Positive: Close to the beach, but budget accommodation. Very difficult to grade this place Overall service 9, hotel 3 = 6. However, considering good location (that’s why we chose it) and friendliness of the staff we even may return. This is a 2-start hotel, staff was friendly, breakfast acceptable, rooms barely on the level. We arrived late, informed the hotel, but there was no one there; luckily, we found a guy in the hotel close by. Rooms were not prepared – no towels, bathrooms not ready. There were cockroaches in one room On the other hand hotel is as close to the beach as possible, owner and staff gave us a good diving advices, with very fair prices. So, if you expect medium level of rooms don’t go there, otherwise if you want to dive and can accept lower level rooms, with fair prices, it’s OK for few days..

Negative: Poor rooms Cockroaches in one room Smell of animals and their ... Didi not use shower as it was not ready Toilet did not flush properly

Summary: Close to the beach, but budget accommodation. Chose carefully.
