Positive: The owner of this place and the lady working and preparing breakfast are the best! I and my boyfriend got escorted by the owner to the place when we were arriving. This was very nice, because otherwise we would have had a problem to find the accommodation for the first time. Breakfast itself was truly tasty and fulfilling. Location of the place is at a quiet street, but at the same time, directly in historical medina, where you want to stay, if you are a tourist.

Negative: There was not much of storage space in our room, so count with your bags being placed mostly on the ground. Air exhauster in the bathroom didn't work, or didn't work properly, so our room was getting a bit moisture and foggy after taking shower.

Positive: The location was excellent, right in the centre of the old town. Zahra the hostess was so helpful showing us on the 1 st morning where to find essentials. But then arranging anything else we requested eg a trustworthy guide, which Hammam to use etc. Zahra popped in each morning to see if we had any queries. Sanai the housekeeper was lovely, always helpful, working to make a different breakfast in the local style daily. I can’t praise them both highly enough. Location was perfect for visiting the old town, and trips within reach.

Negative: The stairs are narrow and steep, this is the nature of such buildings , but visitors just need to be aware. The flat roof top area perhaps could be converted into a more attractive space for adult guests to sit outside, weather permitting. Just a suggestion. Also, there is a small window opening directly close to a 1 st floor bedroom overlooking the ground floor below. I personally would not find that safe enough for young children guests even though the window latch shuts. These are no detraction for adult guests to enjoy all the house has to offer.

Positive: location is extremely convenient right in the center of the madina.

Negative: The riad has a setup where the ground floor is the living room and kitchen, the first floor and second floor are the bedrooms and bathrooms, while stay at the living room or kitchen, have to climb all the stairs to go to bathroom. But this is a riad inside the medina, it is how it is setup, if you love the old medina environment, you will have to accept the old Riad setup.

Positive: It was a great location within the medina and we were met on arrival at a main entrance to help us find the place. All staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. The location was perfect and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was the best we'd had during our stay in Morocco.
