Summary: Dar Antonia is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing collection of rooms and buildings. Very nice roof terrace with a small paddling pool. It is also in a good location in the medina (close to a main road so you can leave easily). The staff were great, particularly Rahma and Aliya who were very friendly and attentive at breakfast and other times throughout our stay. Our room (mimosa) was clean and beautifully designed, included a safe, AC (worked well) and a hairdryer. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Shower water was hot with good pressure. Towels changed every day and bed made up. The breakfast was good (included a boiled egg, bread, yoghurt, pastry, jam, halwa, lemon juice, melon and tea/coffee. There was however very little variation in the breakfast over the 3 days I was there. Room for improvement - there were a few things missing in the room which would’ve made our stay better including a fridge and a kettle. A complementary water bottle could’ve been provided in the room, especially given how hot it is. Water is also not provided at breakfast which was very surprising. There was not enough storage in the room. Bathroom was quite tight, very little space to manoeuvre and not many hooks to hang clothes. It was also not very well sound proofed and I could hear furniture being moved on the rooftop terrace at the end of the night which was disturbing. WiFi was also not the best. NB: there is no lift so something to bear in mind for those with mobility issues.

Summary: This hotel was outstanding! The decoration, the rooftop restaurant, the facilities and specially the personal (extremely kind and helpful) The owner of the place was too friendly and offered us a free upgrade to the Tozeur suite. Thanks for this beautiful experience, will be back shortly!

Summary: I didn't have a good experience. In order to get from Tunis to Sousse, you either pay a ridiculous amount to a private driver or you take the Louage. The Louage is a rideshare van filled with at least 8 people with no air conditioning. It was the longest 2.5 hours of my life in that oven of a van. Once I got out, I contemplated going to the emergency room due to dehydration but decided to just go to the hotel. It's impossible to find a taxi so I walked for 30 minutes, completely dehydrated and about to die with my suitcase. A guy opened the door for me (Omar, the brother of the owner) but he doesn't speak English. I asked him in French for a glass of water and he told me to wait. I tried to explain that I needed it now otherwise I was going to pass out - by this time I felt faint. He couldn't understand me and just kept telling me to wait. I knew the owner, Sami, was upstairs because he called down to me when I got there to say hello. So, I yelled up to him 'Can I please get some water?' Sami took it as an insult and rudeness and came downstairs to yell at me. I'm talking finger in my face screaming! He screamed that if I don't respect his staff, then I can stay somewhere else. I told him not to speak to me that way and I will stay somewhere else if he refunds my money. He refused to give me my money so they showed me to my room where he continued to yell at me. We eventually both apologized but I can't get over how he treated me.

Summary: Me encanto!! Céntrico, limpio, decoración muy bonita. Desayuno perfecto. Lo recomiendo 100% I loved it!! Central location, clean, and beautifully decorated. Perfect breakfast. I recommend it 100%.

Summary: This beautifully renovated building is over four hundred years old. Highly recommended as a base for exploring Sousse. Helpful staff, incredibly clean and welcoming spaces. Great vibe.

Summary: It’s an excellent accomodation, easy-to-find locatio, rare for a Medina stay. Medieval construnctions weren't built for modern plumbing so odors are present, which is to be expected. Fab breakfast too and great restaurent too.
