Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Danygraig Cottage. The hosts were very welcoming, and the area is truly stunning – fresh air, peaceful surroundings and beautiful, serene views. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of board games, jigsaws and books to enjoy during downtime.

Negative: It would be great if the cobwebs in the cottage could be removed. I do appreciate that spiders help keep insects away, but clearing the cobwebs would make the property feel tidier.

Summary: Great hosts and a very beautiful location.

Positive: This is a lovely cottage in rural Wales. Fields and woods on your doorstep to walk in. The natural beauty of wales is so well represented, if you can stay up late, this area is protected from light pollution, so grab a nightcap and star gaze. The kitchen is perfect with everything you need, including home made Welsh cakes. Delicious. The hosts were lovely and offered great advice about where to go and which pubs to visit. The area is stunning and they keep bees, so be prepared to buy some amazing local honey… Tranquility at its best. Book the plough ( yploughfelingwm.co.uk) for food it’s simply amazing, the Bbq friday night was wonderful, with enough take home for lunch the next day. Brilliantly located 10/15 mins drive from Carmarthen

Negative: Nothing, there isn’t aircon, but we were there in a heat wave, and the thick stone walls kept the interior cool

Summary: We were visiting friends locally, and will use this as a base again in the future

Positive: We particularly liked the location of the cottage, set at the bottom of a winding road, and then you are engulfed within a stunning location, spectacular views and greeted by amazing hosts! The cottage itself has been tastefully decorated with everything you need for your stay, really peaceful and lots of wild life! The bed was comfortable and the roll top bath was extremely relaxing. We really felt like we had made some new friends with the hosts! An extra bonus for us was that they kept bees and we were going on a bee keeping course (we didn't know that before booking!)

Positive: The cottage was beautiful, so full of character & very clean. The beds were really comfortable. The hosts were so lovely, our children really enjoyed chatting with Phil about nature; the beehive & the owls especially. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. Hopefully we’ll get to visit again!
