Positive: The villa is beautiful filled with rustic and modern design. A very large outdoor area makes your stay feel quite private and relaxing. We loved our double room, is was very spacious. The restaurant serves delicious local dishes - we tried most pasta dishes on the menu and the deserts are to die for!

Negative: Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and are looking forward to come back. Just a few small bits to note: we had a few ants in our room - perhaps some repellents could be placed near the doors. The plug sockets were a little confusing and we couldn’t get the hair dryer to work; even though we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner, we weren’t able to order multiple items from the lunch menu; the garden maintenance and cleaning of the property was sometimes impeding our relaxation time a little.

Positive: This is a wonderful hotel located in a renovated old villa. We had the option of self-check-in because we arrived late. Access to the villa and our room was by code. Our husky, who travels with us, was very well received by the hotel staff. Moreover, despite our late arrival around 11 p.m., a dinner from the restaurant located on the villa’s grounds was already waiting for us. The restaurant staff was also very friendly. Overall, this is a great place to stay when traveling to Milan or Lake Como. A big plus is that the hotel is very dog-friendly. We will definitely come back again.

Negative: A minor downside was the cleaning under the toilet rim — it seemed like it could use a more thorough cleaning. And a small suggestion: it would be wonderful if dogs were provided with a water bowl, as it would be a meaningful sign of attention. Other than that, everything was excellent.
