Summary: We had a wonderful overnight stay at Danby House while we hiked parts of the Bruce Trail. . Julia, the host was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The home had a station for all day coffee, a fridge and microwave, etc. Our room and bathroom were so cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Summary: The property was easy to find and accessible. The room very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Everything was quite comfortable for our stay. They upgraded us the day before to a kig room and it came with a small kitchenette as well which was great. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and our host was very lovely. The property was very convenient to shops and eateries in Markdale. It is a 5 miniute walk to the main street. We did a little walk in the evening and the streets around the property are very quiet. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Betty & Hamilton

Summary: I stayed here for one night because the highway home was closed due to bad weather. 10/10 would stay here again. Very cozy place in a very grand old house. Julie was very welcoming and wanted to ensure my utmost comfort. Highly recommend!
