Positive: The apartment has a large terrace with a stunning sea view, with the elevation finished in stone. There is plenty of space in, enough for 4 people. The kitchen was well equipped, the air conditioning was available in all rooms. The host was helpful, but it was sometimes difficult to communicate with him as he didn't answer our calls (but finally, he was able to solve the most of the problems). There is a small beach next to the accommodation. Due to the inconveniences we had at the beginning of our stay, the host made sure that the price for the apartment was appropriately lower. The accommodation is located not far away from the entrance to Mala/Velika Paklenica; however you still need a car to get there (same as to any shop, restaurant etc.).

Negative: Our stay was at the beginning of May. Unfortunately I don't feel the apartment was ready for our stay so early in the season. Our troubles started already during the pickup of the keys from the box - there were several keys in there, and our instructions were not detailed enough to find out which keys are ours. When we get in, we found out the apartment was not even properly cleaned, especially a toilet and the sofa (the pillows smells like they were never washed). The bathrooms in the rooms look nice on the pictures, but in fact they are in poor condition. The sink drain was broken, the cabinet under the sink looks like it was flooded many times. The door frame in one of the doors was incorrectly fitted. Basically the location looked like it was unfinished, e.g. there were bare cables sticking out of the walls, some lights were broken, same as some deckchairs (screws were missing). There was a jacuzzi on the balcony, we were told that it was prepared especially for us, but in fact it was full of sand, even the filter looked completely clogged with sand. We didn't feel comfortable using it. In the first days, as it was quite cold, we had a serious issues with electricity. The pieces of wood visible in the photos were not available, so the only option was to heat the apartment with air conditioning. However, this was extremely difficult, as the electrical installation could not withstand this load, which caused the electricity to cut out. Unfortunately, this happen also to the hot water boiler, so the first night we had in the cold apartment with no bath. On site, it also turned out that the facility did not have WiFi, contrary to what was written in the advertisement. It has been explained to us that it was due to some general failure in the city, nevertheless we gained access to the Internet after two days. There were limited basic additives available, such as washing powder or dishwasher capsules. The bed comfort was decent at best.
