Summary: Everything was lovely apart from the fact the spa was out of order i was not told this on arrival or when i booked i even asked the staff what time the spa opened in the morning to be told 9am then no spa the whole reason i booked emailed the hotel only to be met with an apology i would have liked a refund so i can book another spa but no they took some money off the food but that in my eyes was no good so wont be staying again

Summary: A beautiful place to stay. Service from check in to check out was great, parking was convenient, and the room was clean. We had dinner in the "dungeon" with the pre-set tasting menu and it was extraordinary. We di did not utilize the spa area so I can't comment on those services. We would definitly stay here again.

Summary: Went to the bar and never got any service. My wife had to go ask for a menu and she was directed to the table. After getting the menus, it took over 45 minutes before anybody ever even came over to ask us if we wanted something to drink. At that point it was too close to dinner and way too late. Internet connection was awful most of the location was under renovation and unacceptable. Spa had nobody attending it to make any kind of reservation. Fortunately, we got an upgrade as we were scheduled to be placed in the loft which is away from the castle. The above noted the seven course meal was absolutely phenomenal very romantic, and the service was great

Summary: Room was very dated and bathroom was cracked tiles and felt dirty. Castle is stunning outside and maybe going through renovations. Staff were good.
