Positive: We could book at the last minute, they were fast to answer and the room had a high ceiling so it felt spacious. The staff was very nice.

Negative: We booked a room for 600 sek and then later received a message we had to pay 100 sek extra per person for bed linen and 200 sek extra for cleaning. This was not mentionned in the description and since it almost doubles the price, we didn't feel like it was correct. Also, the window wasn't closing properly and it was -20°C and a snowstorm outside. And during the night, there was a lot of noise from a group of young boys getting inside the building and yelling around. We told these last two issues to the staff in the morning and they allowed us to take a drink/snack for free as compensation, that was nice. Finaly, the bathrooms are quite old and not the cleanest. It is a good place to stay the night but it is too expensive for what it is.

Positive: Spacious, in good conditions, generally clean and very smartly managed. There’s no staff, everything is self service in a very easy to understand way.

Negative: The kitchen’s could’ve been a bit cleaner, especially the fridges, freezers and electronics. But at the same time it is a hostel and every guest is asked to show some responsibility for cleaning after themselves. It was ok overall.

Summary: Comfortable, pleasant stay in an old historic school building.

Positive: Good stay, we only stayed one night and managed to rest on the journey. The place is clean and has access to everything necessary - kitchen, bathroom, common space to relax, large parking lot. Self-service and easy to use. An additional bonus for being able to stay with your dog.
