Positive: We booked up D&P Suites so my partner could attend the local ceramics course and we both absolutley loved the place. Good size, very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you could need. Peppe and Daniella were brilliant hosts and very accomadating, even when we had to change our flights at the last minute and couldn't arrive until 10pm, there was no issue and were there waiting with the keys. 10/10 would definitely stay here again. If you're considering staying here for the ceramics course it's a good location to stay and only takes around 10 minutes to walk there.

Positive: Spacious, immaculate, located right in the center and access to a laundry machine. The owners are a wonderful couple who really care about their guests.

Negative: As a light sleeper, the street noise at varying hours of the night, was an issue for me. my neighbours in suites 1 and 3 however heard nothing. I’d bring earplugs next time. The property itself is outstanding.

Summary: Highly recommended, modern, clean apartment.

Positive: Daniela and Peppe are the perfect hosts. I was staying at D&P suites 2 while I was taking a pottery class at Salemi Ceramics school. The location was perfect! Daniela and Peppe started us with water, wine!, and other kitchen items. They also had a well stocked bathroom and laundry room. I highly recommend D&P Suites!! Kimberly Robinson

Positive: The apartment was lovely and spacious, very comfortable and in a good location in the center of Salemi’s old town. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, and check in/check out was easy.

Negative: Maybe because of the hot season, but the air conditioner sometimes smelled a bit funny when you first turn it on. After letting it run for a while the smell goes away and it was fine in the end - but just a note for future residents! Peppe and Daniele were responsive and immediately came to check/fix the AC when I told them, but the smell did come back after a while - I just had to let it run with the windows open for a few more minutes.

Summary: Overall great apartment, warm hosts, convenient location.

Positive: D&P Suites 2 was in the perfect location for attending a week's course at Salemi Ceramics a 10 minute walk away. It was close to all the local shops including a grocery across the road which sold fantastic fruit & veg to a patisserie & supermarket a short distance away. The apartment had everything we needed to cook, wash our clothes & we felt so comfortable there. It was clean & felt home from home & safe. The owners Peppe & Daniela were delightful hosts & couldn't have been more helpful offering advice & explaining everything we needed to know about the premises. It was very reassuring to know we could contact them anytime night or day if we had any problems. They also accommodated our request for an extended stay as we had a very late flight. I give Peppe & Daniela 10 out of 10 for the wonderful experience they gave my sister & I at D&P Suites 2 & would definitely recommend staying there if visiting Salemi or attending the Ceramics Course.

Positive: Peppe is an excellent host. He was available to greet me and assist with my luggage. He was also very responsive when I had an issue and wanted to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Peppe also met me when I checked out and treated me to a cappuccino! The apartment is very clean and has everything as advertised. I was there two weeks with SALEMI CERAMICS and they provided cleaning service in between, which I really appreciated. Other hosts do not do provide cleaning. The building security is excellent as well. There are plenty of locked entries. Laundry was a huge bonus! First rate hosts!

Negative: I stayed in #2 and it was very loud, with a lot of traffic and street activity. It is a common place for young men to socialize late into the night. Also cars and motorcycles race up and down the streets - it feels more like an urban setting. It was hard to get a restful night sleep most nights. Note: Apartment 1 has a beautiful view of the valley, and I understand it is much quieter. I would have preferred to stay there. Apt 3 is on the street as well. There are other drawbacks to being on the street, you have to keep your curtains drawn at all times.
