Positive: This is really a gem of a place. The property seems new, well kept and spacious. It is on the beach so you can sleep to ocean’s sounds which is amazing. The service is exceptional. They really take care of you without being in your space. No matter what you ask for - they will try and give it to you. The food there is really good, especially Sri Lankan food.

Negative: While I liked it very much, it is in an offbeat place. There aren’t many shops at walking distance. We rented a car so it was okay for us..but if you are looking for buzz, then this might not be the place for you.

Positive: Small bnb, really nice view, and great pool, beach front, very quiet, which made it just wonderful

Negative: No drinks/spirits, due to the lack of license. Not a big problem, but something that was leading us to other places as well.

Positive: Nice property, right on the beach with full view access. Rooms are very comfortable including tge bathroom.. the staff are very warm and hospitable

Negative: The only thing which could have been improved is the condition of the access road and some litup signage, as it was difficult for us to locate the property after evening.

Positive: Breakfast was great, but dinner was super disappointing and really overpriced for the quality of the food. The manager was very sweet and offered his apologies for the food before we acknowledged being disappointed with it.

Negative: Check in service was a bit clunky. Also I left my expensive phone charger in the room and they said they found it, then it mysteriously "disappeared" again when it came time for them to return it to me.

Positive: Villa is stunning, really can’t fault the room, pool etc. so clean and comfortable. Had our room cleaned every day to a very high standard. Had the best sleeps of our trip. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious. Everything high quality. The chef made home made banana bread and this was a highlight. Really loved our mornings here. Very kind staff, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Negative: You end up paying 12.6% fees on card charges (this is ridiculous) they tried to justify saying it was because of Sri Lanka central bank but we weren’t charged this anywhere else, maximum 3%. Would recommend paying in cash but it’s a lot of money to carry around with you which makes the charge more ridiculous as you’re pretty much trapped into paying. The prices of dinner and laundry were also pretty high but this didn’t bother us too much, we walked to a nearby restaurant, U Point, instead which was delicious.
