Positive: The hosts were amazingly friendly, hospitable and had a great attention to detail. Before check-in Laura communicated and coordinated a parking spot, and provided a seamless check in with the help of her very sweet and friendly father. I booked the attic which was a very large but cozy space, good for 2-3 people. The view of the mountains in the morning was beautiful and unobstructed. Overall the room and the bathroom were very thoughtfully done. The bathroom was cozy, hot water shower, with soaps and shampoos provided. Overall everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Several mornings the hosts mother provided a delicious apple pie which was perfect in the morning to fuel up for the days hikes.

Negative: Honestly everything inside the house was fantastic. What was less ideal is the location. The town was very small, and so were the nearby towns. I went on the second week of September and it felt like a ghost town. Many restaurants were not open till 6:30-7:00pm which was not ideal.

Summary: Wonderful host, facilities, beautiful view, quiet.

Positive: What a lovely place! A cozy, family-run establishment where Laura was the perfect hostess. Communication was always smooth and easy, and she went out of her way to help us coordinate tours and restaurant reservations. We stayed in the room on the second floor, which offered a stunning view of the mountains. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with boutique hotel-style amenities. (Note: the room and bath are in a separate wing from the family quarters, although the owner's bathroom is located in the same wing. Also, there is no small fridge in the room.) The location is ideal as a base for exploring the Dolomites—Cortina d’Ampezzo, Tre Cime, Misurina, Braies, and more are all within a 60-90 min drive.

Positive: This is an accommodation in a family house with a five star hotel quality of service. The accommodation had everything we needed. Laura seems to know exactly what hikers need as she prepared the experience for us. I appreciate many small details such as multiple power sockets on each side of the bed and choice of many of light fixtures. The place was extremely clean and we received great service every day, including laundry and restocking of small food items. We also got two big bottles of water every day. Huge selection of tea and coffee in the room. The private parking space was very convenient and easy to park on. We lost the house key and the host didn’t want us to pay for it at all, although we insisted.

Negative: For the attic room, it was quite noisy at night from a busy street. Except from food baked by the family, the complimentary treats we got were rather junk food - most people would prefer some fresh bread rather than artificial, sweet croissants. Even though we appreciated it, we were not informed that the room/bathroom will be cleaned and we were a bit surprised to receive it after first night. There should’ve been a „do not disturb card” available. To reach the bathroom, one has to step over some very squeaky floor - it was quite uncomfortable to to go there at night because of that.

Summary: A sleeping space in the Dolomites with extremely attentive host.
