Designer features include hardwood floors, french windows and doors, high ceilings, 3 gated entrances, off-street gated parking and property is embraced by stucco walls and picturesque yard and gardens. Enter through the front gate to the courtyard and solid wood custom dutch door. The 1st floor offers a great room with high ceilings & fireplace, formal dining room, designer all stainless kitchen wl subzero frig,, viking gas range, adjoining breakfast and family room w/ soaring ceilings, 2nd fireplace, french windows and doors opening to the fabulous private outside spaces with blue stone patio, gardens, fire pit, arbor, outdoor kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area. Two bedrooms on first floor one with queen bed and a spacious adjoining large bathroom with double sinks leading to the 2nd bedroom with a full size new bed plus a stationary bike and desk doubling as an office/workout room, a separate laundry room and guest bath. complete the 1st floor. The entire upstairs offers spacious primary suite with high ceilings, french doors open to a charming balcony, fabulous bath with large sosking tub and separate shower and walk in closet 2 zone heating and cooling , 4 flatscreen TVs with all channels. and designer touches throughout.

Summary: My wife and I needed a clean, comfortable home to stay in for over two weeks post brain surgery at Stanford. Sherry's home is clean, welcoming, quiet and in an upscale safe neighborhood. Very close to Stanford and we especially enjoyed the various foods on Calif st, sitting outside and just enjoying our time there. Sherry provided everything you could think of in the kitchen and made us feel so very welcomed.

Summary: This was a great house to stay at. Located on a quiet street, but has very easy access to main roads and downtown. If you are there during the holidays, it is a short walk to Palo Alto's iconic "Christmas Tree Lane." Sherry was an excellent host and extremely responsive. The kitchen was well-equipped, the TVs worked fine, and the beds were comfy. I'd definitely consider staying there the next time I'm in Palo Alto!
