Summary: This is a very nice house with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach is not crowded at all. The neighborhood is next to Cape Henlopen State Park on one side and the Cape May - Lewes Ferry on the other side. It is a 1 mile drive to downtown Lewes. Our family of 8 was very comfortable staying there. There is a ton of space, both indoor and outdoor. The screened porch on the top floor was our favorite spot. I highly recommend 8 Sandpiper!

Summary: Plenty of space, great layout, kitchen well appointed (actual sharp knives!). Fantastic garage area with enough room for 4 cars shaded under the home, and 2 more in the driveway. Great proximity to beach and Henlopen park, but far from town. We’re walkers, and did the walk to and from town anyway (1.5 - 2 mi each way, depending on destination), so that makes it less accessible to walk places, kinda forces you to drive more. We were disappointed the pool was under renovation, as that was most of the reason to select that property (4-8 yo’s with less beach tolerance than adults). But positive note, last minute found one of the kids did a big no-no and stained carpet with ’slime’. Kelly was great and y ty hey were able to clean it up without charging us or damage insurance.

Summary: My family and I had such a nice stay! The house was clean, spacious and a perfect location. We loved the bay beach which is walking distance (5 mins!) from the house. It was perfect for my 18 mo, his first trip to the beach :)

Summary: Very nice property. Would be nice to have a TV in the kitchen dining area. That way the family room could be used as a kid room. Couches in both rooms close to needing . I know not always easy as a rental. Enjoyed the stay and would rent again. Thank you.

Summary: Four ladies and their spouses spent a wonderful weekend at this house. The house is beautiful and very spacious . The location was perfect and close to Lewes. Everything made our birthday celebration a success.

Summary: We were five couples visiting Lewes for the first time and loved it despite Hurricane Ian. The house was perfect with space to gather as a group; also plenty of space for privacy. The kitchen was very well stocked, making it easy for us to prepare our "gourmet club" meal one night. We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: Our family loved this home as our base for the week. On the couple of rainy days there was plenty of indoor space and protected outdoor space for our 7 adults and 3 grandkids (2,1, 3 months). On the many beautiful beach days, we loved coming back to a home complete with a private bath for each group and a large, welcoming kitchen and dining area for shared meals. We enjoyed several nights of games and conversation on the lovely covered deck just off of the family room. The nearby bay was great for a quick splash in the water or a walk on the pier. We loved Cape Henlopen and could be to the beach in 5 minutes!! This area has amazing sunsets too. We plan to make it part of our family tradition in the years ahead.
