Positive: All the facilities were very good. Ideal location for our needs. Comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the deers!

Negative: Couldn’t find any instructions for the tv. Other people’s left over stale coffee in the cupboard. Pub in the description wasn’t actually open so unable to walk to it for a meal as planned.

Positive: Immaculate, stylish, peaceful & practical. The generous hosts left milk, coffee, biscuits & plentiful supplies of washing up liquid, hand wash, laundry liquid & dishwasher tablets. It was so relaxing to be in such a comfortable property in such peaceful surroundings yet with such great access to things to do. We were sorry to leave.

Positive: The property was in a lovely location, and had everything needed for self catering. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of wildlife seen in field opposite and in woodland behind.As previously mentioned it is on a flight path, but didn't bother us at all. Amazing dark skies for star gazing, and numerous walks around the area.

Negative: Leaving!! Could have happily stayed..

Positive: The chalet was extremely well equipped with all you could possibly need. Well stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and sofa and plenty of parking space. Location was beautiful without a soul in sight (except a pheasant and squirrels) but within easy drive of a large number of historical sites such as Knole, Hever Castle, Penshurst Place etc. Despite poor weather the chalet was warm and comfortable. Would definitely like to return.

Negative: Internet was intermittent.

Positive: Excellent place to stay, a real home from home with a lot of thought gone into every little detail to ensure almost everything you could need is close to hand. A real credit to the owners who obviously take great pride in providing a 5 star self-catering experience. A very comfortable, well lit and spacious place to stay, excellent outdoor area in summer but equally warm and cosy inside in winter. Only hesitation in recommending Culvers Croft is that it may make it harder for us to book again next time!

Negative: Not much to dislike, had intermittent Wi-Fi issues but it turned out that was due to a national 3 network outtage during our stay. Perhaps an additional bin outdside and clearer distinction between recycling / general waste although it seems the council in that area are some way behind my local council when it comes to what can be recycled. Very very minor things which I am sure the owners would not hesitate to address but nothing that detracted from a very enjoyable 2nd stay at Culvers Croft!

Summary: Well deserving of the awards and praise, setting the standard by which others will be judged!
