Positive: I liked the location the most.

Negative: I honestly was disappointed by how small the hostel was, including the dorm. I also didn't like that the air conditioning was turned off in the common area intermittently. At one point towards the end of my stay, I believe the remote was confiscated so people couldn't turn it on at all.

Summary: Great location, but the lack of space was disappointing

Positive: The location is the only thing for which you would want to stay at this hostel.

Negative: The hostel manager does her best to keep the place tidy and clean but the hostel is old and needs modernisation and restyling, the entrance smells because of the shoes (too tight of a place to find breathing room), room lights are kept on for some reason at night and there are various contradicting rules. On top of that they allow people to steal food and beverage from the fridge (no cameras on sight), which is odd and bizarre for Singapore. On a side note, the hostel manager can be rude at times, I don’t know if she didn’t like me (possibly racist) or she’s like that with most people but when I checked-out I gave her the keys and she didn’t even say bye nor look at me, terrible customer service. This sounds to me like a Chinese-run enterprise that only cares about making money and totally disregards client satisfaction and abuses the fact that Singapore is a very expensive place so people will still need a bed in town. Stay max 2 days if you are on a tight budget or spend a bit more to be treated well and enjoy the place you sleep at.

Positive: Perfect location ! 🙌 One of the cheapest hostel in Singapore. Everything was very clean during my stay. Bad point there is just one shower and one toilet for two rooms (for approximately 16pers I think). No common area. So if you just want to find a clean and cheap place to sleep with good location that's perfect 👍

Positive: Nice stay would recommend. Slept well in the pod style bed with lights and power. Central to Chinatown close to hawker and MRT Nice host and clean

Positive: The location: right at the heart of Chinatown. Close to shops and places to eat/ buy food. It was Chinese New Year and the lady caretaker served us free breakfast and good coffee. We loved it.

Negative: The little place to eat should have a little sink to wash dishes and hands instead of bringing them to the toilet sink.
