Positive: Location was good. Right on the mountain. Very convenient and clean rooms. Quaint and quiet.

Negative: This place defines "hella mid". Have they done anything to improve it since it was build in the early 70's? I don't know, maybe. The TV's were 15-20 years young with DVD players integrated. We thought this would be nice, as they had a very fun dvd library in the lobby. So we picked some fun/classic movies to bring to the room. The DVD player in our room didn't work. We went to our friend's room down the hall and tried their dvd player with the same result.

Summary: This is what I have come to expect from Crystal: overpriced, mid grade, deferred upgrades

Positive: Loved the balcony and beautiful scenery. Receptionist was very nice!!

Negative: We couldn’t get the DVD player in the room to work and we would recommend wooden stir sticks for the coffee/ tee in the future! The little plastic straws melted with the hot water. Some utensils in the room would also be nice!
