Summary: Lovely pub, pricey but had a great value for money 3 course set meal for £23 (Running JAN/FEB25) Staff were brilliant. Bathroom & room are really well kept and modern. Only downside was the air con unit, turned it off but kept hearing a mundane noise throughout but still lovely place and would stay again if I’m in the area for work.

Summary: The sole real issue was only one very dim ceiling light and only 1 dim bedside light in the room. I had to use my iPhone light to see how to use the coffee machine. There appeared to be 2 more spare plugs for missing table lamps. I went to see the receptionist who spent at least 10 minutes searching several places for lamps. With no success. We were offered a change of room, but my wife had already changed for bed so we stayed in the gloom.
