Positive: Very nice location and amazing facilities. Very helpful nice staff.

Negative: Horrible loud music playing in restaurants and lounges and reception. It made it very difficult to relax and hear and have a conversation.

Positive: The restaurants, the Victorian Baths and the scenery around the hotel were all really nice! Great location and the food selection for breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Something for everybody.

Negative: The room was exceptionally warm which made it very uncomfortable. Opened a window and had a fan on all night but I still had a terrible two nights sleep as did my partner. The hot pipes underneath the room added to the heat and discomfort. The value for money is poor, I particularly didn't appreciate a service charge for two drinks at the bar!

Summary: It was a nice hotel with gorgeous scenery and surroundings. I would go back but not in any rush.

Positive: Breakfast was superb. East restaurant was lovely, and the head chef came out and we had a great chat about his food ! His taster menu is highly recommended, the fish in particular was amazing ! All four of us enjoyed all the various courses.

Negative: Evening meal at The Terrace wasn’t quite as we’d expected, three of us had the monkfish scampi which unfortunately was quite tough and a bit chewy. However the starters and wine were lovely as were the staff, always friendly with a smile and up for a wee chat.

Summary: Absolutely loved it and we will definitely be coming back with family.

Positive: Meals options very good Reception staff helpful Staff throughout good Location vistas excellent Enjoyed visit and will definately return . Spa staff and choice of treatment very good.

Negative: My adult daughter is disabled and i found it exhausting pushing her through the long carpeted hallways. And I truly mean exhausting. Can I suggest rooms adjacent to lifts converted to suit disabled guests and preferably ground floor disabled rooms. The ballroom/ winter garden bar was a server short and 10 minute wait for service not uncommon as they also deal with waiter orders. Bearing in mind this was a Monday/ Tuesday the weekend must be chaos. Perhaps look at dedicated waiter server with two other staff dealing with bar custom. On the entrance to the Brasserie ,Piccolo and cinema the wheelchair lift was out of order and was not fixed during our stay, so we could not access any of this area and my daughter wanted to see one of the late films, Disappointed. We would have liked a room service until 11pm/ 12pm for light snacks/sandwiches. A 9.30 curfew for this means leaving the lounge areas earlier than would want to. Thank you.

Positive: Beautiful setting. Lovely restaurants. Lots of activities We were as a couple but 94 of us went in 2 buses. Entertainment was great for kids

Negative: Nothing Maybe a shuttle bus or car to town. I have a sore knee. It was quite hard coming from town. No taxi available

Positive: Facilities were amazing and varied but my access was restricted by steps/stairs due to my mobility problems

Negative: I use a manual walking frame and was unable to access both interior and exterior parts of this beautiful hotel because of lots of steps and no ramps to allow both myself (and other guests with physical disabilities)to access certain areas of the hotel and the Brasserie restaurant because the stair lift was broken
