Welcome to Creekside Retreat! We are an upscale log home nestled next to the Hogback Mountains in New Castle, CO. We are a creek front property that provides ample parking and sleeps up to 8 guests! Creekside provides all your entertainment needs with a large kitchen table, a game room, & our fully furnished back patio! We come equip with a grill and a propane fireplace that you can sit around at night. If you're traveling with children, we do provide a travel crib & high chair for your little one. Our kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and cookware you might need! We have two full bathrooms in the home. The master bathroom has a jetted tub and a stand up shower. The second guest bath is a tub/shower combo. We have a laundry room with a washer and dryer/ ironing board. There are three smart TV's in the home with fast Wifi for your streaming and work needs. Theres plenty of grass in the front and back for children to run around and play! Creekside retreat is only 3.5 miles from I-70 & 2 minutes from local dining and grocery store!

Summary: You can't go wrong staying at this adorable house. It is right by a stream. It has everything you could want. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. We had fun playing pool in the evening while grilling dinner. We only stayed two nights, but next year we will be staying three.

Summary: Cabin is nice with all the amenities you need. Pool table is fun. Jetted tub in master is great. But the outdoor area is really great! Plan on buying more propane for the outdoor fire pit because it’s that much fun! The river right next to the cabin is an added bonus!

Summary: The whole family loved the place. Nice getaway from the busy areas. We really enjoyed the creek and having our morning coffee listening to the sounds. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and pool table. We saw several deer almost every day we were there and a fox. Overall the whole family really enjoyed our stay!

Summary: This is a beautiful home in an amazing setting! My father hunted in the Elk Creek and Deep Creek areas for over 30 years. When he passed in 2020, my sister wanted to plan a trip to see where he loved to spend his falls. I had the privilege of going with him once, but she never did. The Creekside Retreat was perfect for this trip - sitting with my sister and one of our dad’s best friends around the fire pit telling stories at night was magical. The house was wonderful - clean, well appointed and perfect for this trip. Close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough out to be private, quiet and close to the creek and Dad’s hunting grounds. Highly recommend this property!!

Summary: What a wonderful stay! The cabin was even more charming than the photos portrayed. There was a deer family with two very small fawns that liked to visit on the property, with the adults close by. The town of New Castle was fun to visit, and we enjoyed watching for the pig on the corner street house. It was only 20 minutes or so to Glenwood Springs, where amazing adventures awaited. The trip through Glenwood Canyon was breathtaking. A wonderful trip!!

Summary: This place perfectly suited our needs. It had everything we needed for our family to spend some quality time together. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need. The pool table was popular and there are games to keep entertained. The weather was perfect and the outdoor area was nice and comfortable. We even had room to play ladder-ball. We saw plenty of deer hanging around the property. The creek was running high enough for a little fishing. Overall, we couldn’t have hoped for a nicer place to spend the weekend.
