Nature abounds at this peaceful, creekside retreat 5 minutes from Hot Springs. This spacious home sits on a wooded acre frequented by a variety of wildlife. Fall River passes through the backyard, so you can enjoy the sounds of the warm water creek all year long. The 2000+ sqft house is newly remodeled and has everything you need to stay in and relax or prepare for your next big adventure.
There’s plenty of space with 3 large bedrooms (2 king, 2 XL twin beds), huge living room, dining room, playroom/workspace, laundry. Lots of room for the kids to play, inside and out. We also have a desk with a computer monitor and wireless keyboard available to you for work or remote learning.
The house is off a well-maintained 4 lane road and 4WD is not required.
* Minutes away from Evan’s Plunge, VA Hospital and services, Angostura Reservoir, Wind Cave, Moccasin Springs, Mammoth Site, Southern Hills Golf Course, and numerous lakes and parks
* 30 minutes to Custer State Park
* 45 minutes to Rapid City and Jewel Cave
* 60 minutes to Mt Rushmore.
Other things to note:
* Pets have lived in the home, so this is not suitable for those with severe allergies.
* Full RV hookups available for additional fee, May-September.
* Air conditioning units in shared areas and master bedroom only. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and window, and summer evenings are generally cool.
* There are recording security cameras outside each entrance, for your safety and ours. These are not actively monitored unless there is an incident.

Summary: We decided on Hot Springs for the reason it was centrally located to all of the areas we wanted to visit. The home is located on a beautiful stream. There were deer that visited almost every night and a white duck laid eggs underneath a pine tree in the front yard. All in all a spectacular stay and Amanda was very easy to talk to when needed. Thank you for hosting us.

Summary: I don't think we've ever fully adjusted to occupying the homes of other folks, preferring when possible to rent dedicated vacation venues. But, that said, this was the perfect location for my wife and myself for our annual Hot Springs family visit. The facilities were spot-on and delivered as expected. The overall cost was justified by the Fall River in the back yard - how cool?! Yeah, we're long-time veterans of Black Hills rentals, and this one definately delivered the goods. K & A

Summary: A quiet location with a few deer rambling through the yard and neighborhood. Six of us fit quite nicely in the three bedrooms. On the edge of town just a mile or two from grocery shopping and the Mammoth Site (well worth going to). There was a full kitchen with the usual utensils, and lots of plates and silverware for eating at a large dining table facing the backyard.

Summary: Everything about this property was excellent. Close to everything we wanted to do plus the place had plenty of room for the kids and they absolutely loved the toy room! We would definitely stay here again!
