3 Bedroom Cabin in Newnata, Mountain View

Relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of Turkey Creek right from your wrap around porch. This 2br 2ba cabin with a loft sits on 13ac of land, and is situated right on the creek. Walk along your private creek frontage and find several deep pools - plenty deep enough for swimming . This cabin is 17 mins. from the town of Mountain View AR with many attractions including hiking/biking trails, caves, the White River, restaurants, shops and fun local festivals.
The space - Turkey Creek Cabin
Newly renovated - Some exterior pictures are from February - so expect beautiful green grass and trees in the spring. The master bedroom has a king bed and a joining full bath. Second bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has 3 single beds. All brand new memory foam mattresses. The 2nd bathroom next to bedroom #2 has a shower only while the master bath has a tub/shower. The loft is accessed by a spiral staircase - a child safety gate is available but please be aware that children should be supervised when using the stairs.
The cabin its self is great, but what makes it a step above the rest is its position right along the creek. Our past guests have loved fishing, catching crawdads, and letting their kids and dogs play in the creek. It's one of the few places around Mountain View with waterfront you can play in beyond just fishing. Staying at Turkey Creek Cabin will make you feel like a kid again. The creek's flow depends on the rain - feel free to message us for it's current status. Past guest have said that even when it's low in late August they have still found deep pools on ether side of the house. We've recently added a propane grill on the porch for guests to enjoy grilling their dinner and a crockpot for savory soups/roasts.
Turkey Creek Cabin is also only 30 mins. from Fairfield Bay boasting a great set of restaurants, shops, the lake and other attractions, 17 mins. from Mountain View, 15 mins. To Shirley, and 30 mins. To Clinton.

The whole property is yours to explore with the exception of the shed outside, basement, and a locked closet and cabinet.
Other things to note
This cabin is easy to find, but g00gle maps can't seem to find it. Apple works fine. We will send you instructions on how to find the property after you book. The gravel driveway is about .2 miles long - so the hose is somewhat secluded.
Please note that we recommend driving a SUV/Crossover/Truck as you will need to drive over a wash that sometimes has some shallow water in it after it rains. If you are driving a car, be extra careful going down the driveway.
You will be provided with a towel and wash cloth per person, 2 rolls of TP per bathroom, a kitchen sponge, and a roll of paper towels. Feel free to use the washer and dryer - but don't forget to bring detergent.

Summary: Found this home for our quick getaway we wanted something close to town but not in the mix. Checking in was a breeze, I will say the 13 acres are more the drive to the property with other homes close by. The creek was amazing we spent most of our time playing in it. The house was clean with some exceptions; there were mouse traps on the kitchen counters and the bathroom towels all smelt musty. While there a tornado hit not far from us, power went out but came back quickly. I think access to basement needs to be an option. Overall stay was nice.

Summary: We stayed this week of thankgiving to get away and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The cabin was so nice and the creek was peaceful. We all enjoyed the selection of games our whole family played. It was the perfect getaway!

Summary: The lake cottage was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. Perfect for two people. The lake was so close, we slept soundly listening to the waves come to shore. The owner happened to be leaving as we were arriving, so we met him. He was an excellent host. We highly recommend this cottage!

Summary: The cabin had everything we needed for our group of 6. We even saw some deer around in the yard and creek. We had never been to Mirror Lake or Blanchard Springs Caven. Both are close and definitely worth seeing. We also loved the peace and quiet of the cabin area.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. It is just what we needed to unwind and relax. I will say that the name of the wifi in the check in instructions was incorrect but we figured it out. The owners of the property provided everything we would’ve needed but if you’re looking at an extended stay, like more than 3 nights, you may need some extra paper products just to be prepared. There was even a first aid kit in the kitchen. We have stayed in other places where absolutely nothing was provided so this was a welcome change. Would stay here again!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay saw some otters and deer and even got to feed a duck in the creek. Water was clear and cold the kids loved playing in the creek and after the rain they were able to float on the tubes. There were some wasp I had to take care of but the cabin is remote so kind of expected. We had a really great time at the cabin and in creek
