Summary: Everything was great, the only small gripe I had was that it took a long time for the hot water to reach temperature for the shower, even using the electric boost option. Host was really helpful and room excellent and spacious for a solo traveller which was much appreciated.

Summary: Convenient for day trips to London, in a lovely quiet town, within walking distance to the town center shops and rail station. I had a cozy attic room that was cool, clean, and with a lovely view. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful hosts. I recommend this lovely hotel and will return.

Summary: We enjoyed the setting on a quiet street, the kindness of the hosts, and the comfortable accommodations. A simple and very adequate buffet breakfast was available for an extra fee, which worked for us. There was the offer of a more elaborate breakfast as well (eggs, etc).Enjoyed a friendly chat w host Brian during breakfast. We could easily return to Cranston House!
