Positive: We stayed here from Friday, 30 August 2024, to Monday, 2 September 2024. The location was great. 10 mins from zipwire World Quarry. 20 mins from Snowdon Mountain. It has its own Pier closeby or 35 mins drive to Llandudno Pier. The cutlery was vast and clean. The dining table was huge. We managed to play traitors as there were 8 of us staying. The dining table was perfect for that. The open plan living and dining area was lovely with views of the garden. Very quiet place and easy to find with the postcode. Just have to go slow to turn right into the property as you can easily miss it when driving up.

Negative: I wouldn't stay in an upside down house again. If you want to go to bed before the others, then you just cannot sleep due to the floorboards creaking, and this is just with any normal movement. The ceilings could do with cobwebs removing as they were everywhere, including bathrooms.

Positive: Loved that it had plenty of space and large family areas, as well as the outdoor spaces.

Negative: I tried on multiple occasions to contact the company responsible for the cottage both in the build up to the stay as well as during and heard nothing back at any point. I called and messaged and nothing. One of the showers wouldn’t work and we couldn’t get any hot water from the bath in the same bathroom for a period. With 7 of us staying this was a problem. It would have been good to be able to communicate these issues to someone. There was also another family staying in the space attached to the cottage sharing the garden, which we didn’t realise was even a thing and we were not made aware of this at any point. We have dogs so it would’ve been good to know this as it meant they had less freedom. One of the reasons we booked this place was for the outdoor space for the dogs.

Summary: Lovely property and a great location for what we wanted (we climbed Mt Snowdon), but the communication was non-existent
