Summary: What a sweet spot to stay - run by a family who lives in-house downstairs & provides immediate service when you need it. Lovely drawing & dining rooms, bar for whisky tastings & breakfast area with homecooked (and included) breakfasts. Amenities were great, rooms large & cost.

Summary: On a one month tour of the UK, we have stayed at 17 properties. This was by far the best. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The in-house bar was well stocked with whiskies and the staff was very knowledgeable on the brands. We would return for a longer stay next time.
