From the front door through the sunroom step outside on to a private raised deck terrace, perfect for sunny days to enjoy your favourite tipple while taking in the vistas and watching the ferries sail back and forth.
The rear garden is shared and can be accessed from the back door or walk round the right hand side of the property. There is a back entrance to the property providing easier access with no steps for guests with mobility issues.
There is a pebble beach just across the road and the old Stone Pier, perfect for a little fishing or simply soaking up the sea air.

Summary: We had a wonderful week here. The property is spacious, very comfortable and great communication with the owners. The views from the house are amazing. Lots of forest walks nearby and great beach at Ardentinny. Super local cafes and pubs. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Summary: We spent a wonderful time here. the flat is huge, generously sized rooms every where, with great, comfortable beds. Kitchen very well equipped. 50m away is a lovely pub (no noise) and - more importantly for us - 100m away was a fabulous coffee shop with fantastic coffee, homemade jam for sale, great breakfasts, etc: highly recommended. We explored the peninsula, including the spectacular botanic gardens, went to the Isle of Bute (amazing beaches), and just had a wonderful time. And the view is just astonishing for the variety. On the right you see the built-up areas on the other side of the Clyde, connecting you to the world you have come from; straight ahead you can see how the Clyde reaches the open sea .and on the right you see the highlands. And connecting it all are the ferries shuttling up and down the Clyde. It's really wonderful, and you can enjoy it from inside or outside on the wonderful patio. Highly recommended

Summary: Had a lovely break with lots of walking in the sunshine. Comfy bed and well stocked kitchen. It was great to sit out on the decking in the evenings and have breakfast in the little conservatory, watching dolphins, boats (and a sub) going up and down the Clyde. Wildlife spots included a red squirrel at Kilmun Arboretum and a otter in the water just over the sea wall near the church. The accomodation is on a bus route so plenty of chances to leave the car at home, walking one way then getting the bus back.

Summary: From the moment I made the last minute booking the owners were very helpful. The property is thoughtfully renovated and the personal touch was evident from the crockery to the colour schemes and collection of artworks from near and far . The front sun lounge was a favourite place and we were soothed by the stunning views over the Holy Loch and the ferries shuttling bank and forth . Early morning dog walks on the shore and along the shore road were ideal for seal spotting…missed the dolphins sadly . The flat has a lovely front garden of established plants and was far enough away from the street to sit and watch the world go by . The surrounding area offered lots of walks, a gorgeous botanic garden , a Cowal open studios event and we had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Ardentinny and delicious fish and chips from Aselmo’s in Dunoon . A fab short break had by all .

Summary: We stayed here for a week and it was brilliant. Good communication and contact from the owners, really clean, well equipped everything you could possibly need even spices and we hadn't taken any. Loads of room for two of us. Never tired of watching the ever changing views over the holy loch. Lovely.

Summary: We stayed for 8 days with our well behaved dog and found the flat to be extremely well equipped and comfortable, it literally had everything we needed and was of a very good quality. The property was very clean (except behind the double bed which was a little fluffy) and beautifully presented. We lit the wood burner a few nights which was cosy and could relax in the lounge. Parking was easy outside and we also had a few bbq’s on the decking overlooking the Loch. It was a fantastic location, ideal for exploring the west coast which we throughly enjoyed. Neighbours were friendly and we would recommend the lovely Blairmore cafe up the road. Would love to visit again sometime, thank you
