Positive: Staying at Craft In Te is an experience in itself. All the details, the artworks and the stories behind every object. I wish I'd had more time to take it all in. If you're considering booking any experiences, do it! We went to Baba Mill where they make cedar incense, a shop that makes kurume kasuri, and the next day we did an indigo dyeing workshop. This wouldn't have been nearly as memorable without the wonderful translators, Aki and Shizuka. I wish we get to visit this place again!
Summary: If you like details, then this is the place for you.

Positive: Everything is fantastic! From the room to the service and the breakfast, everything great.
Negative: We spent one night in the bamboo room and there was some noise coming from a machine right in the beds spot, very unpleasant and very difficult to sleep. We contact the staff and they gave us a gift as compensation but my girlfriend couldn’t sleep at all.

Positive: Quiet decent local artistic but not missing traditional Japanese design accommodation. Good Japanese breakfast. Sleeping well on the tatami bedding set up, which is different from others.

Positive: The space of the room was a wonderful. On two floors with very comfortable beds, bed linen, a beautiful wooden bath, a large tatami matted space to sit, be and eat breakfast. The indigo wall hangings were a delight to have in the space and we booked an incredible workshop held by the artist who created the hanging to learn the process of indigo dyeing. This was very special. The staff were very welcoming, generous and exceptionally helpful with directions, booking activities and dinner reservations. They went above and beyond.
Summary: A unique hotel with beautiful rooms and a strong connection to the amazing crafts of the area.

Positive: One of the most special places we’ve stayed in Japan. Craft Inn Te in Yame is a hidden gem, beautiful design, super comfortable beds, and the most exquisite breakfast (seriously, 5-star level). We loved the two-floor layout and the peaceful vibe. The matcha tea ceremony was a highlight, authentic and unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and soulful stay.
Negative: nothing
Summary: A beautifully designed, soul-soothing stay that awakened all the senses, unforgettable in every way.
