UNWIND & RECHARGE in our lovely mountain home with 4 bedrooms & 2.5 baths. This charming and spacious retreat is ideal for gatherings with friends & family.
It features a cozy living room with a fireplace and unique hot air balloon lamp! There's also a full kitchen & dining area, lots of beds, and a game room. Outside, there's a large deck with a steamy Hot tub to relax in. Only 10 Mins to Heavenly Ski Resort, Casinos & more
This Space
Step inside our beautifully renovated home and discover newly installed hardwood floors that lead you through the home. The main floor features a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and an amazing hand-crafted Hot Air Balloon Lamp to give this spacious room a wonderful glow while you are relaxing at night. Downstairs, you'll also find a bedroom/game room equipped with a foosball table, perfect for some friendly competition.
Sleeping arrangements include:
1 King bed in master bedroom
2 Queen beds in upstairs bedrooms
1 FULL bed in game room
3 TWIN beds in game room
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook, right next to a dining table with seating for the whole gang. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front patio while taking in the forest view and our lovely warm string lights or unwind in our hot tub on our brand new spacious deck, perfect for BBQ or star gazing after a long day of adventuring.
We are conveniently located along the historic Pioneer Trail, which is great for hiking, cross-country skiing, or biking. With Heavenly Ski Resort and loads of scenic trails nearby, there's no shortage of outdoor activities to enjoy. Stay cozy and warm even on the coldest days with our reliable heating system (although there is no A/C, which is common for South Lake Tahoe homes.)
This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so we kindly ask guests to be respectful and refrain from hosting parties. Security cameras are located outside the property to ensure safety and monitor for snow plowing or bears.
The home features an oversized 2 car garage, including a handy rack to store your ski/snowboard equipment and space for 2 cars in the driveway. Please note, the driveway is steep and during snowy conditions it can only accommodate 1 car.
We allow two well-behaved dogs (no untrained puppies please), under 30 lbs. They must be on leash when outside and waste should be picked up and properly disposed. No dogs are allowed on the furniture or the beds. We require an additional pet cleaning fee of $25/nightly per pet. Guests are required to inform us beforehand if you plan to bring a pet.
A starter kit of essential supplies for both the bathroom and the kitchen are provided to help maintain the property for your comfort. (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, paper towels, salt, pepper, oil, etc.) Also, instructions to light the fireplace are on the right side door to it.

Summary: We had an excellent stay at this home—it's exactly as advertised and was perfect for a family getaway. Tucked away on a quiet street, the house is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully set up for both relaxation and quality family time. The cozy beds made for restful nights, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. We especially appreciated the fun family games and inviting common areas, which made our evenings together even more enjoyable. The house has a great deck to enjoy the outdoors. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a Keurig, spa towels, and pet feeding bowls. Overall, this is a wonderful, well-maintained home that we highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay, just a short drive to all the great spots in South Lake Tahoe. Summary: A great, bright and clean set up. You can tell there was thought out into the layout. We loves the kitchen and it was pretty well equipped. It was so awesome to have a snow hill we could play on right on the side of the house. The kids loved to just frolic out there. We managed to even use the hot tub, which was amazing!! The beds were comfortable. The co-host Jordyn was friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely a pleasant and recommended place to stay

Summary: We were very pleased with the home, as well as the prompt communication regarding questions and the check-in process. The description and pictures are spot-on and the common areas are perfect for family affairs, the frig was spotless. Only feedback that I can offer is to consider updating the cookware/utensils; I do understand that there is a certain amount of risk with strangers, but that one addition would have helped the experience. Highly recommended stay-location!
