Positive: Unique and cozy cottage; nice ambiance and farm atmosphere. Neat and clean. Lot's of kitchen utensils and supplies. A cute little coffee patio looking out on the fields. Plenty of room to spread out. Close to town, easy access. The host was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions and timely information. Loved the cottage vibe!

Negative: Thankfully there is an In-room air conditioner but it does take a bit to catch up if there is extremely hot weather temperatures. Can't do much about the weather, but just to be aware.

Summary: We had a wonderful time visiting Julian for the first time and the cottage added a special touch.

Positive: Love the cottage! So comfy and cozy! We appreciated the snacks and breakfast that was left for us, as well as the fire starters and wood for the fireplace. Internet access and TV were a bonus! Even better was location to the chicken coops so we could visit the chickens and other animals that were there in the property. Also loved the peace and quiet.

Negative: The bathroom was very cold, versus the rest of the house.

Positive: The property was clean, welcoming, and a great place to stay and relax for a getaway. My boyfriend and I stayed since we were attending a wedding. The location was close to many locations around Julian (less than 10 minute drive). We saw the owner as we were passing by and her warm and generous attitude made us feel so welcome. The accommodations were great and she went above and beyond with providing snacks and food such as eggs and muffins from the local farm. As we had prior plans for the wedding we didn’t have the opportunity to use the food but will definitely be booking again to utilize them! I would definitely recommend this cottage to my friends and family who are looking to go on a relaxing trip and experience the beauty and calming nature of Julian.

Positive: We loved the breakfast items and snacks available upon arrival. All cooking essentials and cleaning supplies were accessible in the kitchen/bathroom. So close to town but still private, and loved that there were games, media, activities provided in the cottage.

Negative: Was a bit warm inside, but a portable AC unit is available.
