Summary: I stayed at this property to see the volcano eruption. It was perfect! This apartment has everything— the owner even provides flashlights which was a lifesaver when hiking around the crater rim trail in the dark.. I would stay again if I ever get the chance. Thank you!!

Summary: Joel delivered as advertised. Wife and I wanted to take quick trip to see the eruption at Kilauea. The property was about 10 min. from Volcanoes National Park and this fit the bill after some long hours volcano watching.

Summary: This place was in a great location if you wanted to visit the Volcano National Park. This was literally a 7 mins drive and if you're interested in playing golf, it was 5 mins away. The unit is attached to the Joel's house so, we had to be mindful of keeping things down (not that we're loud people but wanted to be respectful). There was a microwave, a good size mini fridge, some plastic utensils, cutting knife/board, wine opener, disposable plates and cups! Coffeemaker was available and pods. The heated towel rack was a bonus!!! Joel was super kind and got us some milk and cookies from his neighbor the one morning since we forgot to get some! I would recommend you staying here if you had only a couple of days to explore the area!

Summary: This is the perfect spot to stay if you want a bit more time to explore Volcanoes National Park and beat the crowds. Joel was great with communication and recommendations and as he said, we won the volcano lottery when the crater started erupting the morning we arrived!
