Negative: Can’t say anything negative. I give it a 10!

Positive: I had a great stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. There were fans, wireless chargers, snacks, laundry detergent, games, sound machines, and other things I didn’t anticipate needing, but was glad to find at my fingertips! Great location too! Perfect for visiting F&M and sites downtown.

Negative: It’s an old home so the stairs are steep and the only bathroom is upstairs. This might be a consideration for some.

We loved the thoughtful details that made it feel like a home away from home, especially the interactive map in the kitchen where we could place a pin from our hometown and see where other guests had visited from—it added a special, personal touch to our stay.

Negative: The only downside is that the property is close to a hospital, so ambulance sirens can be frequent. While this wouldn’t have deterred us from staying, it might be helpful to inform guests in advance. Additionally, one of the bedroom windows is missing its blinds. Lastly, the 10 AM checkout felt a bit early, as most places allow until 11 AM. That extra hour would have made for a more relaxed morning without feeling rushed. (We loved our stay these small details just would have made it better.)

Positive: Cozy Retreat was centrally located downtown for those who like to visit the downtown area. The house was clean and comfortable and Kim was helpful with our requests.

Negative: The only comment I wish I had seen from someone was that the only bathroom was up a very steep flight of stairs. While not a problem for most, it was difficult for us as we are older and had trouble with the stairs.

Summary: We enjoyed the house and our time there except for the difficult staircase.
