Positive: ‘Breakfast ‘ wasn’t served and I wasn’t expecting it. There were two cereal options in the cupboard and milk in the fridge.

Negative: I didn’t like the steep set of stairs that led to the suite, nor the number of holes and tears in the drywall, nor the rather messy surroundings outside the suite. There was no coffee table which made sitting on the sofa with a snack rather awkward.

Summary: This suite, though perfectly serviceable, just didn’t have the kind of ambiance that appealed to me.

Positive: Excellent oceanview location, which was easy to find with Google maps. It's quite peaceful, you're surrounded by sounds of nature - many different birds singing & sea lions barking. The private patio space was nice to sit & enjoy the sea views while having snacks & drinks. The hot tub is just steps from suite entry door, very easy to access. We brought our own fire ring to warm up beside hottub but there is the lovely large firepit on deck in front of owner's home with lots of comfy seating. The suite is located around side of their home, above a workshop space & is quite private. The suite had everything we needed for a comfy stay including some coffee, fresh juice & milk in fridge & dry cereals in cupboard. Alan was a fantastic host & brought us crab cracking tool for our seafood eats. I would book & stay here again. I would recommend it to my friends & family.

Negative: The bed was comfy but super squeaky. The linens would be better if replaced with newer ones. We caught a large spider & a large beetle who startled us in bedroom - put them outdoors. These minor things didn't impact our stay much.

Summary: Cozy suite was better than expected - we will be back!

Positive: This cozy little suite was everything we needed and more. The views were beautiful and the private hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed. The hosts were kind, responsive and accommodating—absolutely no complaints. We highly recommend this stay!
