Positive: The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the city center which was really great! The bed was also very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee and water are available. The hotel doesn’t have a reception but the girl who helped us with our luggage in the shop below the hotel, was really kind and helpful.

Negative: Our tv didn’t have streaming services available, but while I was booking it was mentioned as one of the services, that was unfortunate. Also, the bathroom in our room was really small. One of the glasses wasn’t completely clean. But of course, you also pay for the location, so after all it wasn’t too bad. Also, be aware, the hotel is close to the church so you will hear the bells ringing through the night, it personally didn’t bother me, but it’s good to know. All and all, I’m content with our stay and recommend the hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable stay.

Positive: Very kind and helpful staff. We could drop off our luggage before checking in and after checking out. Very comfy beds and great shower!

Negative: Bit noisy, but that's to be expected. Thanks for the complimentary ear plugs!

Positive: Very central location, kind and helpful staff, comfortable bed, cosy room

Negative: Third floor without lift with typical Dutch narrow stairs - with a suitcase simply a nightmare. Hotel is very close to the Dom cathedral and windows not sealed enough, you hear every bell of the church. Room is quite small and the bathroom simply tiny.

Positive: Heated bathroom floor! Great location. Super comfortable bed.

Negative: Incessant tolling of the church bells and the noise of people leaving the bars and restaurants. Super steep stairs, which could be an issue if you have mobility issues.

Negative: The room we chose and paid for wasn't the same as the pictures in the advertising. We believed we had paid for a front facing room with a Julliet balcony and when we arrived they had given us a room. facing another building under construction in the back. When I asked for the room I paid for I was told by the assistant manager that this was it. After requesting a refund and stating how I believed their ads to be misleading they made arrangements for us to have the original room and made it sound like they were doing me a favor. I was happy to finally get the room. The room was very clean and well maintained and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. They are a boutique hotel and although they communicate through WhatsApp quite well, there was an element of personal service that was missing. One thing not mentioned is that there isn't a lift, only very narrow and steep stairways. This is definitely not a hotel for a person with any mobility challenges, back,hip or knee issues or disabilities. I did not see mention of this in their advertising The location is a 10 out of 10, and if you are without disabilities or mobility challenges and can get a front facing room, then you will have a wonderful experience.

Positive: Central location - opposite Speelklokke Museum and v close to the Dom Toren. Room facilities good - a small fridge is always useful. Large spacious bed. The keyless digital entry system was initially daunting, but reliable and simple to use. Young ladies in the boutique below were very personable and pleasant in storing and retrieving our luggage on the last day after check-out.

Negative: Not much can be done about it as it is simply the characteristic of the building, but the stairs are very steep with narrow steps, which makes getting luggage up and down difficult and potentially hazardous. Not suitable for anybody with any sort of mobility issue. Some initial issues with receiving the initial check-in email - apparently with booking.com it doesn't always come through. An email to adress given gets a quick resolution.
