Summary: This unique little home was a 7 day heaven for my family. Between our 3 teenage girls and the two pups we truly had a breathtaking view of the beautiful scenery and water of a small little part of the historic southern Georgia. Absolutely fantastic location and the service was light years ahead of any expectation. Truly a diamond in the Intercoastal! Totally recommend and definitely will try out other cottages with this owner!

Summary: The house was appointed well, the hanging bed was the highlight along with the outside kitchen. Enough space for a couple and perhaps young children (our dog enjoyed the area). Cookie was available to answer any questions and make our stay . . . she also, made a Low Country Boil at the house (extremely tasty). It's a good get away destination.

Summary: From the time I booked this cottage I knew it was going to be great! I had e-mails from the hostess, Cookie, and e-mails from Evolve and VRBO confirming our reservation and sending us information on local restaurants and activities. The house was just as pictured. We loved the country setting and the beautiful surroundings. As we were very busy with family visits and wedding activities we did not get to spend as much time as we would have liked to just relax and enjoy the house, we did love coming back to it every day, or evening. It was like coming home! My grandson loved romping around the property and exploring. We all enjoyed sitting on the screened porch or out on the back deck. We saw deer, an armadillo, a birds nest on the deck that had eggs hatch while we were there and lizards and even a snake...all outside of course! The weather was lovely and on the last night we had a rain storm come through and we even enjoyed that while sitting on the porch! Cookie was very nice and left us a delicious lemon loaf and rosemary tea when we arrived. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend this to friends and relatives and would love to try one of the other cottages next time we get out to Georgia!!

Summary: We had a lovely, restful time at the Lodge. It is so comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we could need, including a great screened porch to sit on under the huge oak trees and just relax! Cookie and Danny are the best hosts....we were there for the month of December and Cookie had Christmas lights on the porch and around the bar and seasonal greenery everywhere. When we arrived at 8 that night there were 'sliders' warming in the oven, olive salad in the fridge and music playing. We enjoyed our month there and would definitely return...
