The moment we arrived, we felt at home; it’s incredibly cosy, with a warmth that makes it hard to leave. The highlight for us was the amazing fireplace—there’s nothing like curling up in front of it after a day of exploring. And the vintage fridge (how is it 70 years old and still working?!) added such a unique, nostalgic touch to the cottage’s character. The location is ideal if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, yet it’s still within easy reach of local attractions. The owners were so lovely—friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making guests feel welcome. If you want a charming, quiet escape with heaps of personality, this is the place. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Positive: The cottage and location are absolutely idyllic. We had our dog with us and she loved the enormous garden. Seeing the deer, bees and other wildlife was a real treat.

Positive: Beautiful cottage in quiet contryside location; comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Really appreciated the wine and chocolates!! Bed was comfortable, sheets lovely. Beautiful fields out the back which the dog definitely enjoyed :) Would love to come again in Summer to sit outside in lovely garden. Had fun with the board games on the cooler evenings and loved the retro fridge :)

Negative: Tricky to shower is the only thing - splash water down the back of the tub from the overhead shower but good hot water which is the main thing! :)
