Positive: Lovely place to stay in the Fens. Joe made us feel very welcome. The house is very comfortable with lots of character. It is in a quiet location with great views from the back garden across the fields. Welney Wildlife Trust is nearby and a great place to visit. Joe's instructions to find the cottage were precise and helpful
Negative: Nothing comes to mind.
Summary: Great place to stay.

Positive: A lovely cozy cottage that was very well equipped. We loved the old fridge, bedrooms were very comfortable and the log burner ensured relaxing evenings. The cottage was spacious enough for our Labrador and Cocker Spaniel who enjoyed the trip very much 😊 The garden isn’t enclosed but if you have dogs with good recall or on a long lead it’s not a problem. There isn’t too much to do in the immediate vicinity so be prepared to drive out and about but would fully recommend old Hunstanton and the local fish and chips is great.
Negative: We had a bit of an issue with the shower as it kept leaking on the floor but we could use the bath instead, so not an issue. However, we did mention to Joe and he’s going to fix it 😊
Summary: A wonderful relaxing stay

Positive: An Absolute Hidden Gem – Perfect Peace & Charm!" We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! This darling cottage is a true retreat—tucked away in the quiet countryside, surrounded by stunning open fields. The moment we arrived, we felt at home; it’s incredibly cosy, with a warmth that makes it hard to leave. The highlight for us was the amazing fireplace—there’s nothing like curling up in front of it after a day of exploring. And the vintage fridge (how is it 70 years old and still working?!) added such a unique, nostalgic touch to the cottage’s character. The location is ideal if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, yet it’s still within easy reach of local attractions. The owners were so lovely—friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making guests feel welcome. If you want a charming, quiet escape with heaps of personality, this is the place. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!
Negative: That I didn't book longer to stay.
