This romantic lake cottage is a perfect couples get away!
You can leave all your cares behinds during your tranquil visit as you relax on the private dock or relax on the shady patio. Enjoy a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and share adventures, quiet moments, and uninterrupted togetherness. The lake cottage gives you a chance create everlasting memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Water lovers, bring your paddle boards! There are also two kayaks available for your use at our private dock. If you prefer a sandy beach, a 5 minute ride will take you to the lovely swimming beach or you are also welcome to fish (off our covered dock or the heated dock close to the office, you will need a license which you can get in the office). We highly recommend a casual walk or bike ride around the peaceful and tranquil lake (3.5 miles) as you watch for our local bald eagle and other beautiful birds. On those cooler days the cottage offers a variety of classic board games, cards, DVDs, and books for your enjoyment. On a clear night, the sky is brilliant.
The cottage is an original lake cottage with calming views of the lake from all rooms. Wake up each morning to the glistening views of the lake from your queen size bed. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, Keuring machine, toaster oven, and an additional coffee maker. A charcoal grill is located on the back patio for your use.

Summary: Peaceful Solo RetreatI had a lovely solo stay at this cozy cottage. The lake views and constant sound of birds created a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The cottage had everything I needed for a quick getaway to the countryside. I also enjoyed the chance to fish, kayak, and bike ride—plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors. A perfect spot to unplug and recharge.

Summary: Great location for our visit. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the cottage. The cottage was small, but it severed my wife and I well. Marion Lake has alot to offer. Very peaceful.

Summary: This was a nice little cottage next to a beautiful lake! It was the perfect spot close to Marion that allowed us to attend our son's school event and still have a comfortable place to come back to between events.

Summary: Beautiful and comfy little cabin with a great view of the lake. We had a wonderful time fishing and driving around the lake. It was cold and windy, so we did not use the kayaks. Great dock. It is very close to town, which has a grocery store, many great eating places and a great thrift store. The refrigerator is a small dorm fridge with no freezer. There is no internet available at the cabin, but there is a TV with a blue ray DVD player. The cabin is on the same property as the owners and there is a shared drive. We had a great time and hope to visit again when the weather is warmer. You might add a picture of the kitchenette so guests can know what appliances are available.

Summary: What a cozy, comfy little cottage! If you are looking for a chance to unplug, enjoy the views and count your blessings, this is the place for you!! Be sure you being a cooler for ice and paper goods so you don’t have to travel to eat out every meal. Lovely place to be with a super comfy bed, but be better prepared than us as there’s no freezer and no dishes since there’s no kitchen sink. Absolutely peaceful place to stay though, especially if you enjoy trying out all the local eating joints!!
