Summary: This cabin is a perfect getaway for two, clean n well cared for. Located minutes from the Blueridge Parkway in the hamlet of Balsam.

Summary: This cabin was an excellent place to stay. It was in a perfect location that was close to the places we wanted to visit: Sylva, Bryson City, Cherokee and the Blue Ridge Parkway which is right down the road. The owner, Nancy, greeted us upon our arrival and she was really sweet and welcoming. The cabin has most anything that you would need to cook meals and the crockpot was a major plus. The bed was very comfy and we both slept like babies. The springs that are on the side of the cabin are so wonderful and the turkey family that visits in the morning is a pleasure to see. Nancy and Bruce, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely cabin. We look forward to coming back soon.

Summary: Cabin was just as depicted in the description. Very cute spot for couples. A perfect location for the areas we wanted to explore (Blue Ridge Parkway, Maggie Valley and Bryson City). Other reviews mentioned a rooster crowing in the morning. We did not hear it. It would have reminded me of visits to my Grandma's in TN. Kind of sorry we missed it!

Summary: The neighbors roster is a little rude but its hard to complain when you can sleep with the windows open in June. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We had a great time at this little cabin! The cabin was just as the pictured showed. The location was great. Bring your own soap/shampoo (and coffee!). We were prepared, so it wasn’t an inconvenience to us. Others might like to know. 🙂 We were able to stream Netflix easily.
