Only 2 hours from the Charlotte area, 1 hour from Asheville, and 45 minutes from the Greenville, Spartanburg area - this location is perfect for a quick getaway or even a week long stay.
Located near Lake Lure, Mountain Brook Vineyards, and Tryon Equestrian Center. Guests can visit the Lake Lure Beach, rent a boat, visit Chimney Rock State Park, or visit the winery for live music and serene mountain views. Other activities in the area include zip lining and ATV riding. Local restaurants and ice cream shop are located nearby or guests can cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen with a propane grill on the back deck.

Summary: Cozy Cabin captures the plusses of this cabin. Great location in a gated development, convenient to Thermal Belt trail and Lake Lure attractions. Extremely clean and well appointed. Recent addition of 2nd full bath made this cabin our go to choice for the region. Michael is a great communicator. I don't hesitate to recommend this cabin after our second stay.

Summary: This place captured our heart! From the beautiful drive into the gated community to the last day there, everything was great. Beautifully furnished just as pictured on VRBO. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Downstairs bedroom has a king bed that was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. The owners thought of you before you even arrived! Basket of snacks and adult beverages were provided…couple of cans of Zeevia, which I had been wanting to try…they were delicious! Toiletry items, feminine products, shampoo and lotions are all there if you forgot yours. Cozy blankets everywhere. Speaking of, no matter where you chose to relax, whether inside in one of multiple seating areas or outside the cabin on the front porch, the large deck, or out by the fire pit, you felt nothing but peace! Beauty surrounded you on all sides. Very private and woodsy. We had wood delivered for the fire pit and got to meet one of the neighbors. Very personable guy! Btw, we didn’t burn all the wood so the next guest or possibly Michael’s family will enjoy a cozy fire on us! Our 14 year old dachshund, Samson, will tell you, the fenced yard was a great plus. One morning, though, we let him out the front door to do his business and we were greeted with a family of 6 deer walking across the driveway! And yes, Samson, wanted to chase them but thankfully, he listens, and came back to the porch. Communication with owner was super great! Look forward to coming back!

Summary: Beautiful area, cabin advertised with completely accurate descriptions. Literally a quiet home away from home. Thermal Belt Trail mm0 is under 3 miles away, which was our reason for this trip. We looked at many options for lodging and Cozy Cabin won hands down. We will definitely book again if going to this area.

Summary: my husband and I stayed here over a rainy weekend. we were looking for a quick, quiet getaway and this was it! we stopped at Mountain Brook winery on our way here (before the rain) and would recommend it as well. the cabin was set back and private. easy to find, check in and check out. we were able to enjoy the porch on a rainy afternoon and just read, watch the deer go by and enjoy the peace. the inside was very comfortable, cozy and clean. the kitchen had baths had all we needed and quality linens. the owner even left us some nice snacks and adult beverages - thank you!! we truly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed cabin. it was just what we needed to relax and recharge.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin. We were all very comfortable, including the two and four legged children. It rained some and we visited friends who live not to far away, so we did not get to enjoy the fire pit unfortunately. Kitchen was perfect and had everything. The free free drinks and snacks were a nice touch(especially since we arrived late at night). Only thing could have used was a small dresser in bedroom or closet, just to not have to keep digging in suitcase for clothes, but not a huge deal. The hosts were great and all the instructions were very helpful. We have this one saved to our favorites!

Summary: My family and I could not have asked for better Christmas getaway than the cozy cabin. It was by far the most hands free experience we have had. Everything was thought of from the smallest of items to the remarkable fast internet given the mountain setting. Everything was modern and spotless. The surrounding area was peaceful and my kids enjoyed watching deer from the oversized back porch. I recommend the cozy cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
