Nestled in the heart of small-town Detroit TX, near US Hwy 82 & the Rails to Trails Western Trail, the Oasis is 15 minutes east of Paris, less than an hour south of Broken Bow, and 2 hours north-east of Dallas.
Recently updated with new flooring, paint, linens, etc, it is ready for you and your family to enjoy! Swing by for the night if you're biking or driving thru. Make it your "home away from home" for awhile!
Enjoy the large grassy backyard, perfect for a picnic, or some BBQ on the grill- bring along your favorite outdoor games!
Inside, you'll find an updated kitchen complete with crock pot, toaster, blender, microwave, glass stovetop and wall oven, kuerig, french press and drip coffee makers, and more, to make your stay comfortable.
There is a dining table for 6, comfy living room to lounge in, books, toys to entertain the littles, puzzles and games.
Each bedroom has a queen size bed with new linens. Master bedroom also has a bathroom with a tub/shower. The main bathroom has the luxury of a vintage soaking tub.

Summary: I have learned to enjoy staying at properties instead of hotels. This location was just what we needed. I cooked breakfast, I had options for lunch/dinner, it was close to where I needed to be, and mostly it was clean. I appreciate all the personal touches. My husband and I will be back in the area and we will be back.

Summary: The ‘“Oasis” in Detroit, Texas is a true island unto its self. The home is immaculate with all the amenities that anyone needs. Yes, it’s TV free, but that gives you time to just sit and reflect on the day or the next day’s activities. Audrey and her family are premiere hosts.
