Positive: There are some facilities for a young family such as a Fun house with soft play , a swimming pool, and a dinosaur park.

Negative: The heyday for the hotel was probably in the 70's and I don't think there's been much modernization done since. The rooms are dated, our room had a funky smell near to the bathroom which reminded me of the smell that would waft in the New York subway when sharing the carriage with an unfortunate.

Summary: Dated but still worth a visit for a family stay

Positive: I liked that it was dog friendly and the staff made my dog welcome. I like the dinosaurs.

Negative: The television lost all channels. That left my partner at a loose end as she enjoys watching TV in the room.

Positive: Really friendly staff and they welcomed pets. The location was perfect as it was lovely and quiet yet an easy walk or bus ride from the town centre

Negative: My key to the room didn't work to start with, so I had quite a long walk back to reception to get it sorted

Positive: Lovely bright and comfortable lounge and bar area. Great for families with younger children. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Negative: It was a shame there was no entertainment on Monday and Tuesday night's. Also disappointed that the Wood Shed was also closed. Appeared to be a lack of staff in the restaurant. Staff very strict about not allowing under 16s (even though he was) into gym so take ID if planning to go.
